TACUHO is made up of housing practitioners across the state of Tennessee. From student staff members to senior housing officers and all of the folks in-between who make our residential communities home for our institutions’ students, TACUHO is a place for us all to come together, share ideas, and advance the profession.

Following the mission of the Southeastern Association of Housing Officers, TACUHO advances excellence in residence life throughout the state of Tennessee by promoting best practices, allowing opportunities to network and idea share, and providing professional development and involvement opportunities.

The TACUHO Annual Conference

Each year, our membership comes together for the statewide annual TACUHO conference. This is a two-day conference that allows participants to participate in educational sessions, take part in our annual business meeting, network with practitioners across Tennessee, and build connections with corporate partners that support the mission of residence life.

TACUHO has a mission to serve the colleges and universities in the state of Tennessee, but our reach is far beyond that.

“TACUHO has given me the opportunity to connect with folks from across the state of Tennessee who share in my passions and really understand the work that we are doing in residence life. I always felt seen and appreciated in TACUHO spaces and leave conferences feeling energized and excited to do good work.”
